Aug 2006 - Present: Arcadia Group Ltd - Ecommerce Production Manager
I relocated to London from Yorkshire to work on the development and integration of 6 brand new Ecommerce websites for Britain's largest retail giant. I worked with the Arcadia Production Manager and E-commerce Design Team to successfully launch the major brands onto a new platform in a £6 million project.
Much of the work included liasing with IBM's Websphere Project Managers, Brand Directors, third-party design agencies, graphic designers and in-house web developers to ensure seamless integration of front-end user-interfaces and back-end technology. All the Arcadia sites use the same XHTML templates served-up via IBM's Java-based Websphere, yet all were given their own unique brand 'look and feel' by using CSS stylesheets based on Web Standards Project guidelines for accessibilty.

Currently, I am working on a few projects alongside the day-to-day running of all Arcadia's Ecommerce stores. Last September 2008, I was involved in the co-ordination of the Topshop and Topman websites in the United States. Previous projects have also included the Kate Moss launch which was hugely successful on worldwide scale.
